The Online Portfolio of Bryan Cox

I’ve been working in the animation industry for 24+ years. In that time, I’ve performed many roles. Traditional 2d animator, animation director, storyboard artist, background illustrator, character designer, after effects specialist and pre-vis artist. All of this was in the New York Metro area. In 2009, I began working at Blue Sky Studios in the Story Department. Using a variety of tools, I created quick, rough animations called “animatics” for the story reels. Over time, I became more and more interested in story, until finally I made the move to story artist and I’ve been doing that exclusively since 2015.

 

Originally from Nashville, TN, I now live with my wife Shirin and our young son, Kasra, in the beautiful Hudson Valley region of New York. I like to hike the many trails and footpaths that can be found in our woodsy little village. I also enjoy sketching, gardening, cooking, playing guitar and tabletop game night with Kasra.
